Motherland Party

The Motherland Party is a nationalist political organization that does not have any tribal or sectarian ideology, and does not practice a radical political philosophy. The Mother Political Party shuns any form of political violence, repression, aggression, and does not associate with individuals, organizations, associations, countries or other entities known to be involved in political extremism. The overall objective of the initiative is to reform the political system in Somalia by introducing an open, inclusive, participatory and democratic political process that rejects violence, promotes equality, protects human rights and freedom of expression.

The Motherland Political Party is a national political party that stands for the realization of national goals, principles, objectives and values all geared toward achieving positive and inclusive socio-economic transformation and development in Somalia while taking into account the geo-political dynamics in the region.

The party believes in and stands for the protection of the sovereignty, independence, and unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Building Peace and Stability.

The restoration and preservation of Somalia's stability is essential for the recovery of its socio-economic life and the state-building efforts.

The Constitution & Laws.

The party believes in adhering to and safeguarding the Constitution and the laws of the country, preserving the unity and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Time-Bound Leadership

The party believes in a limited-term governance and a peaceful and transparent transfer of power.

Human Rights.

The party believes in and is committed to safeguarding Freedom and Human Rights, in accordance with Islamic Sharia, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The party believes in and stands for the preservation of the good culture of the Somali people, Islamic values, and peaceful coexistence with the rest of the world.
